Written in the Summer of 1996, Always Be My Baby was inspired by the music of Mariah Carey's Daydream album. The first part, Christmastime (G), tells the true story of the Archer's Christmas concert performance in October 1995. The second part, Daytime (G), tells the story of Hans and Karen's Internet romance through their e-mail love letters. The final part, Dreamtime (MA 18+, s), tells of their shared fantasy to be together in the real-world.
